Here's what is awesome about Northern California. People are obsessed with roses. And this makes me very happy. There is a HUGE rose park in Sacramento, another in Woodland (10 minutes away) and just about every other yard in Davis is full of roses. Here are a few to give you a feeling of spring in NorCal.

The California state flower is pretty hard to beat too. They are everywhere.
