Jake and I made a swell Thanksgiving lunch. However, we do not recommend faking the turkey. Hoping to avoid cooking the entire turkey, we bought one of these rolls-o-meat, fondly referred to as the "turkey log". Needless to say, this will not be repeated.
The rest of the day was filled with football, computer programming, chatting with kathryn and watching movies. Gotta love holidays.

To avoid any holiday misfortunes, we went without the turkey altogether - and headed to a fabulous Italian restaurant for a Thanksgiving pasta dinner! Happy Thanksgiving, friend!!
